I’ve been a fan of penguins since I was about five years old. I remember when I was in school and everyone had the same favourite animal, I wanted something unique. It was that point and for that reason that I decided to make the penguin my favourite animal. I remember getting really annoyed when another girl in my class decided penguins were here favourite animal too, because she was obviously copying me.
It was literally 25 years ago that I first fell in love with penguins. I think they’re super unique, very caring and just generally great animals. Plus I love that the males raise the babies, that’s super cute. They also find their partner and stay together for life, just like lobsters. I also hate seals because they really hurt penguins and are super vicious to them.
Long live the penguin species.
