The Cute Show – Sugar Gliders!
For the past few years I’ve wanted a pet Sugar Glider but my highly insecure dog, Goldie, says no. This episode of The Cute Show has made me want one even more. Hopefully it convinces Goldie!
Gone Fishing.
If you don’t follow me on Twitter, I’ve been rudely quiet over the last few days. I’m currently in LA to interview this wonderful specimen… I’ll be back to life on Friday with beautiful music, amusing stories and of course, a picture of me and Nasty Nas.
Get Well Soon Fiddy!
Poor 50 Cent is currently in hospital with a stomach virus. I hope he feels better soon.
Jon Snow – This is Britain.
This is amazing.
A Day With Waka.
Every once in a while I come across an article so good, I almost wish I’d written it. Obviously that happened when I read How to Not Violate Man Code: My Day with Waka Flocka Flame by Drew Millard. If you know me, you’ll know I love Waka Flocka so spending a day stalking him […]
Beenie Man – Rock the World.
In case you didn’t know, Beenie Man is my biological father, so you can imagine the shock I felt when I saw him standing on a flying car and falling into a volcano.
Cartoon Rap.
In conversation on a popular social networking site, I claimed to judge rappers based on their cartoon references. It’s something I hadn’t realised before, but it’s true. Well, half true. Clueless Style.
Beverly Hills High: A world in which you can talk on your phone in class, own a sports car before you can drive and ask your computer to choose your outfit. Welcome to a fantasy in which everyone is beautiful and well dressed and the sky is always cloud-free. The world of Clueless was influential; […]
Shawn Mortensen R.I.P.
One of my favourite photographers, Shawn Mortensen died in April 2009. He was only 43 years old. I’m saddened by the thought that I might never again have the privilege of seeing one of his striking photographs for the first time. Though you may not necessarily be familiar with his name, any fan of Hip […]
The September Issue.
Forget Bruno, the fashion film of 2009 is undoubtedly The September Issue, a documentary exploring life at fashion bible Vogue. This highly anticipated film is not just for fans of fashion, as it explores the making of a magazine and the tense relationships of a group of high powered fashionistas. Anna Wintour, the editor-in-chief of […]
Lily is slack.
Once again my blog has become the neglected step-child in my life as SBTV continues to grow. But following a whirlwind trip to NYC, I’ve successfully run myself into the ground and am now feeling sorry for myself as I blog from bed with a fever. On a positive note, at least it’s provided time […]
Ghostface Interview.
In the last 4 months I’ve met Ghostface 4 times on 2 different continents and done 2 interviews with him. The first interview was before his show at Rock the Bells in New York and was limited to 2 minutes so when I had the opportunity to speak to him following the Supreme after party […]
