Over the weekend, Wiley stormed off stage whilst playing at a festival in Cumbria…

Following the godfather of Grime’s recent altercations with the festival mecca that is Glastonbury, Wiley has been on the warpath again, but this time it was in Cumbria.

Before Wiley had even arrived at the Cumbrian CockRock music festival, he was showing his displeasure via Twitter at having to make the trip: “Please stop sending me to farms to perform please mate…I am a yardie man ffs wtf”.

The rapper vacated the stage after performing for just fifteen minutes, supposedly with some abuse from the audience, then took to Twitter once more to goad those who had criticised him: “I just earnt £1000 a min. Best job ever despite anything else.”

Shortly after Wiley tweeted again, taking a shot at his agent this time: “I was right as well that festival had nothing to do with why I am on earth I hate my agent for the right reasons.”

Finally, to once again foreground his getting paid £15,000 for just a fifteen minute appearance, Wiley tweeted: “Today we start the spending of 15 k in style …Fuck them pagans in Cumbria.”

Just when you thought it was over, Wiley then went off on one again on Twitter by saying the following (condensed for simplicity):

“Cumbria listen to this FUCK OFF … I don’t care about anything you any if you have to say your lucky I ain’t even came to Cumbria and done 15 mins and took your money ..pricks. The shit festival I was booked for should of never even got booked it was a EDL festival … Some shit small capacity festival wtf … and I done my job and they want money back ..they are lucky I am not suing them for stuff thrown. Apple and cinnamon crumble … Boom.”

That wasn’t the end of it either, as Wiley finished off with (again, condensed):

“You inbreds get off my @’s and get a life you been tweeting me for days you assholes … fucking reptilians … Get the fuck out of here you county of witches children … And tell your local newspaper to fuck off as well mate … Sling ya hooks … Don’t throw stuff on stage and cry wolf when I leave the stage get paid and leave… Fuck off you got ur show u sang every word now fuck off. You bunch of invalids … bunch of cretins.”

Should artists like Wiley be more careful when it comes to Twitter, or do you respect him for speaking his mind?
